Based in London, Brown opened in June 2007 on Whitecross Street with an exhibition of video work by Nathalie Djurberg, followed by a History of Experimental Sound Recordings show curated by Justin Lieberman. In September 2007, Brown moved to Hoxton Square, in a Lower Ground Floor space designed by Samson Adjei/Offmo with an exhibition by British artist Sam Porritt. The gallery aims to exhibit emerging and mid-career artists working across all media including painting, sculpture, video, sound, performance, installation, and photography.
Kimberly Brown was previously the Director at Zach Feuer Gallery (LFL) in New York. She relocated to London in late 2006 to open Brown. She is a member of NADA New Art Dealers Alliance (www.newartdealers.org)
